Salad
A cheap, simple and tasty summer meal. Serves one.

of a loaf of bread |

Slice
the tomatoes and cucumber into small pieces.
Mix
the olive oil and vinegar to make French dressing (sort of!). Add pepper till
slightly black.
(or
buy some already done!)
Mix the dressing with the tomatoes and cucumber in a
eating bowl.
Cut
the grapes in half. Add to the bowl. Keep dry from the dressing.
Cut the cheese into 5 or 6 small flat pieces. A French person may double the
amount.
Place
cheese in bowl, keeping dry again.
Cut
the bread in to 2 thick big pieces, and butter the top and sides.
Eat
from the bowl, and you may dip the bread in the bowl if you want!
