FRAUKE'S SCHOOL

February 23rd 1998 onwards

Once upon a time there was an aupair called Frauke. She worked hard with the vacuum cleaner and the scrubbing brush for six months of 1995. Legend has that she knew everyone in the Spa. All the aupairs who have followed in her footsteps hear incredible tales about her time here in England. Stories about her sense of humour, her 'noises', her wave...

Here is Frauke with some friends in Oxford, summer '95. She is wearing her dark blue jumper and the leather rucksack is in position - all aupairs have a large rucksack which they carry always.

Notice also the good legs in those flared jeans.

Frauke will be teaching from 23.2.98, at this school in the Spa. Her subjects are German, Mathematics, Natural Science/Technic, Protestant Theology and Interculture Education.

The old brick building above is on the on the right in the photo below, and you can also see a new extension to the school in the centre. The school is set on the edge of town, with a spectacular view over rolling hills.

A delightful children's play area with swings is in the foreground. There are also a couple of benches where, perhaps, Frauke will eat her sandwiches on a fine lunchtime.

Well, I'm sure we all wish Frauke and her new pupils the best of times together. Let's hope for some good teasing!!!
